Strolling down Madison Avenue we hit up some of our favorite spots. The ivy covered buildings and picturesque brownstones make the Upper East Side ideal for little afternoon walks. Now that it's spring, we no longer feel like hibernating inside. Printed pants, lightweight jackets and tops that actually allow you to show some skin are back and we couldn't be happier. Now if only our tans would come back as well....

Hidden in Hells Kitchen lies Smash Studios. Stars like David Bowie, Beyonce, The Strokes, and other big name artists come here to practice their music. Channeling being rockstars ourselves (Sydney has recently taken up drums), we decided to take a little visit and jam out for the day. Both wearing leather, we felt hardcore enough to walk the hallways and ask for a room. Once inside, we just couldn't help ourselves trying to play the instruments provided to us. Basically, it just sounded like a hot mess! ....But we looked really cool doing it.

Can't stop listening. Makes me feel like dancing barefoot in the sand soaking up the sun.
