Spending a weekend in the Hamptons was just what I needed. Cruising around in the sunlight while checking out beautiful houses near the beach was like entering a blissful world of beauty- leaving the chaos of the city behind. Nothing beats dancing the night away, delicious home cooked meals and girl talk with good friends.

This weekend we attended The Great Googa Mooga food and music festival. Walking around we saw tons of delicious looking foods-if only our stomachs and our wallets could afford to eat all of it. We were introduced to a bunch of great bands we had never heard before like Pearl and the Beard which you all should check out. The big headliners, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Matt & Kim were amazing!! Even though it was raining we partied through and took Matt & Kim's advice to "get weird".

With the weather warming up we decided to take a trip to our old hood where we use to do all sorts of fun outdoor activities. We sat by the fountain and watched all the interesting people walk by, wandering through winding paths throughout the Stuy town apartment complexes, and finished out Sunday Funday sitting outside feasting on sushi.
