Photographed by JD Santo
Sydney: American Retro top, H&M jeans, Derek Lam boots, McQ by Alexander McQueen coat, Coach Purse
Amy: Necessary top and skirt, Marc Fisher boots, handmade leather bracelet
Feeling unadventurous because of the bad weather (in true new york style) we decided to stick around our neighborhood. Two streets down from us are the cutest little townhouses that we imagine ourselves living in one day. Upon strutting up and down the avenue we noticed one of them was for rent. We asked our lovely photographer if he would buy it for us but to our surprise he declined. Oh well.

Dinner Party
Photographed by JD Santo
Sydney: Zara top, Nightcap skirt, Chelsea Crew shoes, Michael Kors watch
Amy: H&M body suit, H&M jeans, Jessica Simpson shoes, Arizona jewelry store find earrings, Burberry Watch
Our wonderful friend Torri invited us over for a little dinner party. Apps and cocktails were served on the roof overlooking a beautiful sunset falling behind the Manhattan skyline. We then headed inside for the main course. While sitting around the table, Torri shared a picture of her grandparents on the first day that they met. We couldn't believe that such an amazing moment was captured and 50 years later they are still happily married (see picture #20). To top off a great evening with friends we all had cappuccinos and cookies while watching GIRLS. We would love to thank our beautiful host Torri for having us.

Amy: Donna Karan top & wrap set, Bar III pants, Marc Fisher boots, Burberry watch
Most people have heard of the iconic Plaza Hotel, but what some do not know is that there is a gourmet food court in the basement. We have found ourselves here on many occasions while trying to find an escape from the crowded midtown area. On this rainy afternoon, we decided to treat ourselves to a special lunch; cake. About to leave, we spotted a glamorous staircase leading to a mysterious part of the hotel. Our impish instincts decided to follow it. Once we discovered the chandelier lit room was abandoned we took to exploring. An enchanted Beauty and the Beast castle-like room is what we found.
P.S. If you are wondering what our camera man looks like check out the third to last picture. This is a very accurate representation of his typical demeanor; tres business-like.
